Welcome back to hockey in Drayton for the 2023/2024 season.
Our season has started out successfully with teams taking to the ice for power skating, body checking and development skates. Please check the website frequently for times, as changes do occur. The team calendars can be easily subscribed to for use on phones and Ipads.
This season our association will be running programming as follows:
· U5
· U6
· U7
· U8
· U9 – two teams, MD, and LL
· U11 – 2 rep teams (C team and D team) and 1 LL
· U13 – 1 rep team and 2 LL
· U15 – 1 rep team and 1 LL
· U18 - 1 rep team
Tryout are listed on the website, if you have not received communication from the rep couch for your division, let me know, and I can pass along a message.
Our rosters will be light in numbers, and teams will be dependent on additional players for games and practices.
We are asking for your commitment to have full attendance at practices and games.
Please keep coaches informed if your child is unable to attend for illness and other conflicts.
For U11 and above, Rep season will start Oct 10, 2023, and LL season will start Oct 17, 2023.
All teams are guaranteed play until March 1, 2024
There will be a Christmas break pause for regular season games, but tournaments, practices, and exhibition games can still be scheduled.
There will be NO pause in games during March break 2024 for teams in playoffs.
Mark Your Calendars: November 4, 2023, is Minor Hockey Day in Drayton, all teams will be playing a game…let us fill the stands!
