Our second player highlight is for Cody - #9. You may hear some of Cody’s teammates calling him Coco for short. His favourite hockey player is Mitch Marner because Mitch is fast and a good teammate - two of the same qualities we use to describe Cody.
Cody cheers for the Toronto Maple Leafs. His pre-game meal is spaghetti. The song that gets CoCo ready for games is Gametime. Cody’s favourite hockey memory so far in his career is when his team came back from a 2-0 deficit and beat the team. Not only did they beat the team, they went all the way to win the OMHA finals!
In school Cody enjoys gym and math. His favourite movie is Hunger Games. In his down time, Cody likes to take shots, go for walks or runs, and plays the PS4.
If Cody could be any famous person, he would like to be Mitch Marner because he is in the NHL and Mitch inspires youth, like Cody. His favourite quote is “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take” by Wayne Gretzgy.
One last thought from Cody, he wants people to know that has come from a big family. He has 2 brothers, 1 sister, and a dog. Of course, his favourite colour is orange (Drayton orange I am sure).
