Our player highlight is Owen # 15.
Owen has said that he doesn’t have a nickname; however, we have heard his friends call him “O” for short.
His favourite hockey player is Steven Stamkos because he has won the stanley cup. He has a great shot, which is proven by his 446 goals! While watching NHL hockey, Owen cheers for the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Before a big game, Owen has a pre-game meal which includes pork chops and potatoes. His favourite dressing room pre game song to pump him up is anything country or hip hop.
Owen’s favourite hockey memory so far is winning the OMHA title for the first time.
While at school, Owen enjoys gym and math. His favourite movie is Big Daddy and Christmas Vacation.
When asked who Owen would want to be if he were famous, he said, “No one, because I wouldn’t want to be famous.”
Owen enjoys wakeboarding and skiing during his off season time in the summer and winter months. His favourite quote is, “A good hockey player plays where the puck is, a great hockey player plays where the puck is going to be.” Wayne Gretzky.
